We are Mel and Matt, a small team of two with a blended background in Conservation, Land Management and Landscape Design. We met while working at a native plant nursery in Western Australia and bonded over our love for native plants and the passion we feel about preserving them.
After a few years in business in WA, we decided it was time for a tree change, so we made our way to Whangaparaoa. This place already has a very special connection to us, as it’s where Matt grew up. Seeing all the great conservation work being done in the area, especially on Tiritiri Matangi and Shakespear, to support our native wildlife has made it feel only right to continue our work here and sharing our passion for native landscapes.

Big lover of native plants... especially when they’re in someone’s garden! With a massive passion for creating designs that are one of a kind, she is forever making dreams come true!
Our goal is to weave native plants throughout urban areas, creating timeless gardens that thrive in our unique environment and act as nature corridors that support our lovely, local wildlife. We always make sure the gardens we bring to life are cultivated with a balance of sustainability, functionality and intentional design specific to your space and desires.

Another big lover of native plants... and he will happily get rid of whatever’s in the way to plant them! His eye for detail will have your garden looking like something from a magazine!
Our ultimate dream is to revive the connection people share with nature. To put the beauty of it right in front of them in their very own gardens, where they can nurture, admire, and feel the joy of living in harmony with the land they call home.
